1. WHAT IS THE QUARTZ LOCK FUNCTION FOR?
The quartz lock button bypasses all pitch settings, no matter where they happen to be set on either the main or ultra pitch faders.
2. IS IT POSSIBLE TO PLAY THE PVT-e2 TURNTABLE IN A POSITION AS DISPLAYED?
The new Vestax Dynamic Balanced ASTS Tonearm makes the impossible possible: It allows you to play the turntable at any position from 0 to +/- 36 degree
3. CAN I ALSO SCRATCH WITH THE PVT-e2?
The PVT-e2 is the first 3-dimensional scratch turntable. It really gives you the 3rd dimension in performance if you are playing with such a machine.
4. I HAVE A FRIEND WHO SAYS THAT THE NEW VESTAX TURNTABLES ARE PLASTIC AND ARE NOT AS DURABLE AS OTHER PROFESSIONAL TURNTABLES. IS THIS TRUE?
The PVT-e2 and also the PDX 2000 is manufactured from a highly condensed ABS plastic, which offer high resistance to turntable feedback and rumble, as well as keeping the weight of the turntable to a minimum. This is an advantage over turntables manufactured from steel and rubber, which have an acoustic characteristic of amplifying surface noise from the turntable chassis.
5. MY FRIEND SAYS THAT THE TURNTABLE WITH THE ASTS TONEARM WEARS OUT THE VYNIL MORE THAN A NORMAL TURNTABLE.
The opposite is right . The Clue of the ASTS tonearm is that it does not create a force which tries to lead the tonearm into the middle of the vinyl. Therefore it needs no compensation and reduces the the wear and tear of the vinyl. |
