De M-Audio Keystation 49 is het perfecte USB midi masterkeyboard voor een ieder die start met het maken van muziek op de PC of Mac. Class compliant betekent dat het echt plug en play is op Mac OS X en Windows XP. Met de Maximum Audio Tools software bundel kan je meteen beginnen. Ondanks de simpelheid heeft de Keystation 49 toetsen, is hij aanslag gevoelig en zit er een interne USB naar midi interface in. Met het pitch- en modulatie wheel en sustain pedaal ingang is de keystation compleet.

De Keystation 49e is USB bus powered wat betekent dat er geen externe power supply nodig is.
